Grand River Foods, part of Sunrise Farms, is seeking a Divisional Buyer-Protein to oversee procurement and supply management of protein materials for production across multiple facilities in Canada.

You will manage supplier relationships, issue POs, monitor inventory, and collaborate with Operations, QA, Regulatory, and Finance to optimize costs and ensure uninterrupted supply. 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing procurement is preferred.

Formación

• Post-secondary education in SCM or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing supplier relationships.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze protein material requirements based on production schedules.
• Issue and manage purchase orders per policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships to improve service levels and reliability.
• Forecast material requirements and prevent supply disruptions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing with plant needs.
• Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes.
