Phasor Engineering is seeking a Field Protection & Control Testing Technician/Technologist to join our team on major utility and infrastructure projects across Canada. You will test and commission protection and control systems, relays, SCADA, and MV/HV infrastructure from construction through energization.
This field-based role requires 14/7 fly-in, fly-out travel and collaboration with experienced commissioning professionals.

We're looking for an experienced Field Protection & Control Testing Technician/Technologist to join our team.
Test and commission the protection & control systems that bring critical power infrastructure online while working alongside experienced commissioning professionals on major utility and infrastructure projects across Canada.
In this role, you will test and commission protection & control systems, relays, SCADA, and MV/HV electrical infrastructure from construction through energization.

This is a field-based position with travel to project sites across Canada on a 14/7 fly-in, fly-out rotation.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work for any employer in Canada. Background checks and Drug & Alcohol testing will be required as part of employment, and candidates must have a valid driver's licence with a clean abstract.
Expected annual earnings: $165,000–$225,000, inclusive of base salary and overtime (actual earnings may vary based on experience and project requirements). #highvoltage
