Job summary

SECURE is seeking a Proposal Generation & Sales Support Student for the Stimulation Chemicals team in our Brookfield Office, Calgary, Alberta. You will coordinate customer proposals, manage orders, and help ensure timely delivery of chemical solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Summer positions will run May-August 2027. Co-op and Internship positions may extend beyond the summer term depending on the requirements of the academic program and the business. These terms may be 8, 12, or 16 months in length.

• Be enrolled in a post-secondary institution and available from May to August.

As our Proposal Generation & Sales Support Student – Stimulation Chemicals, you'll play a critical role in supporting our Sales and Operations teams by coordinating customer proposals, managing order execution, and ensuring the timely delivery of chemical solutions. You'll work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, collaboration, and exceptional customer service help drive operational excellence and support the success of our customers across Western Canada.

This role is based out of our Brookfield Office in downtown Calgary, Alberta.

The Team

You’ll join a collaborative, customer-focused team that works closely across Sales, Operations, Production, and Logistics to deliver reliable stimulation chemical solutions. The team values accountability, open communication, and working together to provide exceptional service while supporting business growth.

Work Environment

This role is based in an office environment and offers a dynamic blend of sales coordination, customer interaction, and operational support. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with occasional after-hours and weekend support required to meet customer and operational needs.

A Day in The Life

• Working with the sales team to interpret wellbore information, design the appropriate chemical systems, and then enter the data to create customer proposals.
• Tracking and documenting jobs as they are programmed and delivered.
• Logistics Coordination and Interfacing with the end user to ensure the accurate delivery of chemistry.
• Coordinate directly with hauling companies to organize the timing and logistics of outgoing deliveries.
• Create BOLs. (Bill of Lading)
• Execute orders and coordinate sales directly with the customer.
• Liaise with the production facility to provide forecasting and updates on chemical requirements.
• General administrative duties and sales support tasks.
• Accurately and efficiently perform all tasks as assigned.
• Understand and comply with all safety, environmental requirements, and company policies.
• Be available (on call) for weekends and evenings to support the stimulation chemicals team.
• Perform various other duties by the sales and operations staff as required

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a post-secondary program and returning to studies after the work term; a Technical or Business diploma/degree is an asset.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and confidence in collaborating across multiple teams and external partners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); data entry accuracy is essential.
• Self‑motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with a positive attitude and strong problem‑solving skills.
• Safety‑minded and professional, with certifications such as TDG, WHMIS 2015, and First Aid, considered an asset.
