Job Title : Property Manager – Commercial Office Towers AAA

Location : Toronto, ON

Employment Type : Full-Time | Permanent

Compensation : $90,000 – $115,000

The Role

The Property Manager will take a leadership role in the day-to-day management of a downtown “AAA” Class, LEED Platinum office complex. Reporting to the General Manager, this individual will lead an on-site team to ensure the property is managed to the highest industry standards, delivering superior tenant experiences and optimizing building performance.

Responsibilities
  • Financial & Budget Management
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations and ensure the property is managed within business plans and budgets
  • Lead the preparation and management of annual operating budgets, capital plans, and variance reporting
  • Partner with Leasing and Accounting to support tenant turnovers, build-outs, and accurate allocation of expenses
  • Ensure timely and accurate billing, collections, and reconciliation in accordance with lease agreements
  • Tenant Relations
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with tenants to deliver best-in-class service
  • Oversee after-hours emergency responses and ensure high service standards
  • Ensure tenant work and fit-outs meet building standards and compliance requirements
  • Operations & Building Management
  • Partner with Operations to ensure efficient building operations and compliance with regulations
  • Oversee maintenance programs, life safety standards, and sustainability initiatives
  • Lead the tendering of service and maintenance contracts to ensure cost efficiency and quality
  • Support industry recognition through programs such as BOMA and LEED certifications
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of progressive property management experience in the commercial office and retail sector
  • Post-secondary degree required; property management designation (RPA) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of tenant leases, operating budgets, and financial reporting
  • Proven success leading teams with strong people management and motivational skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Angus Anywhere and JDE EnterpriseOne considered an asset
  • Strong knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act (Ontario)
