The Role

Our company is seeking a Property Information Collector in Vancouver to assist our Insurance Appraisal team in site inspections and preparing reports. This is an entry level role for a recent graduate or an experienced professional with an interest in real estate. An educational background in business, commerce, construction, architectural or building sciences is preferred.

The ideal candidate will be an organized, dynamic individual with a strong attention to detail. We value people who are fun to work with and have a positive impact on the team. The work is diverse, challenging and rewarding and allows you to be hands‑on and integral to the growth of the company as we expand our operations across Canada. Remote training will be provided.

Required Education
  • A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree
Responsibilities
  • Perform on‑site property inspections, photograph properties, measure specifications, and quantifying
  • Coordinate and deal with various municipalities to collect plans / blueprints
  • Complete building take-offs using the company software
  • Ensure the team and client needs are met in a timely manner
  • Perform other duties as required
Skills and Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, a dependable motor vehicle with proof of adequate insurance for business use is mandatory, as travel throughout the province is required
  • Experience in real estate and construction methods preferred. Additional consideration will be given to candidates with real estate appraisal experience
  • UBC‑AIC Post‑Graduate Certificate Program in Real Property Valuation (PGCV) is considered an asset
  • Proof of vaccination required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT), Outlook, and similar platforms
  • Strong analytical and arithmetical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality and accuracy
  • Self‑motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
