Job Summary

Responsible for hiring and supervising rental agents, building superintendents, and support staff; negotiating leases; ensuring lease agreements are met; managing contracts for maintenance; coordinating repairs; monitoring progress and costs; maintaining records; preparing expense and income reports; responding to trouble calls; etc.

Responsibilities
  • Hire and supervise rental agents and building superintendents.
  • Negotiate or approve rental or lease of properties on behalf of the property owner.
  • Ensure terms of lease agreements are met.
  • Hire and supervise support staff performing operational, clerical or maintenance duties.
  • Prepare and administer contracts for property services, such as maintenance.
  • Co‑coordinate implementation of repairs, maintenance and renovation.
  • Monitor progress and cost of work for property owners.
  • Compile and maintain records on operating expenses and income.
  • Prepare expense and income reports.
  • Ensure response to trouble calls from clients or tenants.
Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years experience in property administration or related field.
  • Computer and technology knowledge: MS Word, Mac OS, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint.
