Job summary

CLV Group in Canada is seeking a Manager, Property Accounting to join during a pivotal growth phase. This role leads a small team, strengthens end-to-end property accounting, and drives reporting integrity in a high-volume environment, building discipline and modernizing workflows.

You will own monthly, quarterly, and annual close for an assigned portfolio, prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses, and collaborate with property management to support budgeting, audits, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
Five+ years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in property accounting or real estate.
CPA designation is an asset but not required.
Experience managing and developing an accounting team, including setting expectations and providing feedback.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work directly with numbers.

Responsibilities

Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting and reporting for an assigned portfolio.
Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
Complete and review bank reconciliations and month-end close activities.
Ensure financial statements are accurate and delivered on time.
Lead a small team and provide coaching and performance feedback.
Identify gaps and drive process improvements; support budgeting and audits.
Collaborate with property management to answer questions and resolve issues.
