Job summary

P. Gagnon & Son, a propane delivery company, is seeking CDL drivers to join our team in Canada. You will load, transport, and deliver propane, while upholding safety standards and regulatory compliance.

You will work with dispatch and service staff, participate in on-call rotations, and provide courteous service to customers. The job offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Driving record meets company insurance requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and pull up to 125 lbs in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to work on-call and outside regular hours when required.
• Commitment to following safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane safely.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, DOT, and company safety requirements.
• Inspect vehicles and report maintenance or equipment needs promptly.
• Provide professional, courteous service at every customer location.
• Work collaboratively with service and dispatch teams to support operational goals.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including extended or after-hours work as business needs require.

Our drivers work closely with service technicians, dispatch, and local leadership to deliver safe, on-time service while maintaining strong customer relationships.

What You'll Do in Your First 30 Days

• Complete onboarding, safety training, and ride-alongs to learn EDP delivery routes and procedures
• Perform daily vehicle inspections (DDVIR) and document findings accurately
• Begin independent deliveries with support from dispatch and service teams
• Learn how we communicate with customers, handle after-hours calls, and escape service needs appropriately

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Must Have

Nice to Have

• Comfort using basic computer systems for logging, inspections, and documentation
• Experience working directly with residential or commercial customers
• Familiarity with DOT inspections and compliance standards

Pay: $33-$36 per hour (based on experience)
