Job summary

A leading propane distribution company in Fort McMurray is seeking a Propane Delivery Driver. You will be responsible for safely delivering products to customers while adhering to all regulations. The ideal candidate must have a valid Class 3 License with airbrake endorsement and at least 3 years of commercial driving experience. This position involves physical demands and requires availability for varying shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience.
• Clean CVOR/personal driving record within Company standards.
• Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane.
• Experience delivering propane considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
• Work with dispatch teams to develop routes using knowledge of geography and customer needs.
• Deliver product to residential and commercial customers safely and efficiently.
• Maintain up-to-date understanding of TDG, WHIMIS and required trainings.

As a Propane Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Avenir Energy customers in a safety focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
• Work with our dispatch teams to develop routes using your knowledge of geography, and the needs of our customers.
• Deliver product to both our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure Electronic and Daily Trips Log are up-to-date and submitted daily
• Report any potential hazards to dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with all company and government policies and regulations.
• Maintain Up-to-date understanding of TDG, WHIMIS and required trainings
• Actively participate in team meetings and discussions
• Work schedule will vary - need willingness to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends
• Other duties as required by supervisor.
