A leading marketing agency in Toronto seeks a Proofreader to maintain content quality across various digital and print assets. The role requires 3+ years of proofreading experience, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. You will ensure materials meet brand standards, annotate errors, and work closely with the creative and production teams. The Pub is a full‑service production offering with 450+ subject matter experts spanning digital, video and print production. We work with some of the biggest brands in Canada and the U.S. on projects ranging from anthem TV spots to social content to billions of emails and digital assets shot, designed, developed and deployed by our team. You will play an essential role in maintaining the quality and professionalism of customer‑facing content by reviewing print and digital assets for accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency.
Collaborate closely with creative, production and studio teams to uphold quality throughout the workflow and flag discrepancies or inconsistencies proactively.
Ensure final deliverables meet expectations and adhere to established brand standards. Verify that files follow approved naming conventions, folder structures and version control to maintain organization and reduce the risk of errors.
You will support studio best practices by reinforcing proofreading processes and contributing to a culture of accuracy and attention to detail.
Transparency matters to us. The salary range for this position is CAD $70,000 – CAD $80,000 per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills applicable certifications. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on current market data.
