Join EXP’s Building Engineering Services Group in Cambridge, ON as a Project Technologist/Building Science Specialist and play a key role in delivering high‑quality building solutions. In this role, you will support building evaluations and the development of practical, technically sound solutions for residential, multi‑family, commercial, and new construction projects. Responsibilities will include assessing existing buildings, contributing to repair and rehabilitation designs, execution of Reserve Fund Studies and Condition Assessments, and supporting upgrades or modifications required for new uses or equipment. You will be expected to manage multiple assignments, maintain strong attention to detail, and communicate effectively with both internal teams and clients.
This position involves a combination of office work and on‑site building inspections, which may include climbing, working at heights, and handling equipment up to 50 pounds. Strong focus, clear vision, and attention to safety are essential when assessing conditions, interacting with clients, and preparing reports. Travel to project sites is required, with occasional overtime based on project needs. The position combines office‑based responsibilities with regular field work at project sites.

The salary range for this role is between $56,456.00-$74,837.00. The actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
