Expected Salary: $67,021 to $83,776

To determine final salary, Babcock considers a variety of factors including the successful Candidate’s skills and experience and internal equity. The final base salary offer is at the Company’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.

In this role, you will:
  • Working closely with Project Managers (PMs) to establish and maintain program and project schedules.
  • Developing and maintaining suitable metrics and reports such as: s-curves, resource lookaheads, cost profiles, etc.
  • Preparing short, medium, and long-term scenario plans and providing analysis and interpretation of results.
  • Monitoring schedule adherence during the project lifecycle and assisting with recovery plan development to protect the critical path.
  • Gathering data and providing updates to project schedules and developing reliable, informed schedule forecasts.
  • Assisting the Lead Project Scheduler, Sustainment PMO Manager and PMs to convey project data and information to all members of the project team and senior leadership in a timely manner that will support the decision‑making process.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of Projects Controls measures and metrics to demonstrate schedule adherence and continual performance improvement.
  • Maintaining project / program baselines in Primavera P6.
  • Capturing actuals in Primavera P6 based on financial data.
  • Perform other duties as required.
The ideal candidate brings:
  • A bachelor's degree, college diploma or certificate in Administration or Business management and related work experience
  • Demonstrable experience in Primavera P6 scheduling software (or other project scheduling software)
  • Experience in gathering, maintaining, reporting, and analyzing schedule data.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • The ability to understand and adhere to procedures and policies.
  • The ability to work with precision and accuracy, demonstrating excellent attention-to-detail and excellent record keeping skills.
  • The ability to identify and implement innovative administrative solutions to increase efficiencies.
  • Good judgment and a high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to function in a self‑directed manner in a team environment, including personal workload management (organizing and prioritizing) with a focus on meeting deadlines in a high‑paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with subject matter experts, colleagues, and users.
  • Project Scheduling Professional (PMI‑SP) certification (an asset).
  • Experience working with the Department of National Defence (DND) and/or Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) (an asset).
  • You are eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance
