Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
• CAPM, PMP, or equivalent project management certification is considered an asset.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in project engineering, project coordination, project management, or related engineering project delivery functions.
• Typically 5 to 8 years of relevant professional experience in engineering, project delivery, or project management environments.
• Experience within the nuclear industry or other highly regulated industries.
• Familiarity with nuclear quality assurance programs and nuclear safety culture principles.
• Knowledge of engineering design, project delivery, and project execution processes.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of nuclear safety and quality requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate proposal teams, develop execution strategies, and prepare client-facing proposal documentation.
• Proven ability to build effective relationships with clients, internal teams, and senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, Project, Power BI.

Responsibilities

### **Job Description**## **Overview**This is a client-facing project leadership role supporting Candu's engineering and nuclear services portfolio with Conexus. Reporting directly to the Program Director, Engineering Services Domestic Utilities, the Project Lead serves as the primary point of contact between Conexus and Candu project teams, ensuring the successful delivery of engineering and nuclear projects while maintaining strong client relationships.The Project Lead is responsible for the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of engineering and nuclear services projects, including stakeholder engagement, scope management, schedule and cost control, risk management, performance reporting, and coordination of multidisciplinary engineering teams and deliverables.## **Your role***Project Leadership and Execution:** Lead the execution of assigned projects from initiation through completion.* *Ensure opportunities.* Coordinate proposal inputs from engineering, project controls, quality, and subject matter experts to ensure timely, accurate, and competitive submissions.* Develop proposal schedules, facilitate review cycles, and ensure compliance with client requirements and corporate governance processes.* Prepare proposal execution strategies, scope descriptions, resource plans, cost estimates, and schedules.* Support client presentations, proposal clarification meetings, and contract negotiations.* Build and maintain a strong, trusted relationship with Conexus.* Deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.* Effectively coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams.* Produce accurate, timely, and high-quality project reporting.* Proactively manage project risks, issues, and stakeholder expectations.* Communicate confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior management and clients.* Successfully lead the development of high-quality proposals that are delivered on schedule and aligned with client requirements and business objectives.* Support business growth through proposal development, client engagement, and opportunity capture activities.* Contribute to business development and opportunity capture activities by working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to identify emerging opportunities.## **About you*** Degree
