Job summary

Jobtailor in Calgary, Alberta, is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to provide onsite guidance and manage installation projects across multiple sites. You will act as a single point of contact for onsite teams, ensure QA and safety, train personnel, and liaise with the Project Manager daily.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in senior technician or site superintendent roles, with AV, networking, low-voltage knowledge, and CTS/CTSI certifications preferred. Travel and overtime apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience as a senior or lead technician, or experience as a site superintendent.
• Familiarity with a wide range of audio, video, and networking equipment.
• High level of experience in construction environments.
• Knowledge of low voltage electrical concepts.
• Advanced AV installation skills.
• Good verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems.
• Must possess a valid Alberta driver's license.
• Frequent travel by car and occasional airplane trips required.
• CTS or CTSI certification preferred.

• Develop and ensure compliance with the Quality Assurance program.
• Track departmental goals and objectives in the field.
• Oversee site Safety, Quality Control, and QA activities.
• Coordinate service activities and ensure systems requiring support are included.
• Verify site preparedness and commissioning readiness.
• Support fleet operations and delivery of tools and materials.
• Maintain and track tooling and test gear.
• Conduct site surveys for projects and sales support.
• Review daily field reports.
• Provide daily feedback to the Project Manager.

• Ability to work periodic overtime, weekends, and extended periods of overtime when needed
