Position
Internally
- Coordination of a multidisciplinary team (mechanics, electricity, automation, purchasing, production, etc.);
- Planning and detailed coordination of the different phases of the project (pre-design, engineering, manufacturing, delivery, installation, etc.);
- Facilitation of meetings concerning the project;
- Regular update of the project's financial progress (the project manager is responsible for ensuring that the project budget is respected);
- Regular summary of the project's progress;
- At the end of the project, preparation and presentation of the project's balance sheet in all its aspects (e.g. financial, calendar, etc.);
- Ensuring compliance with the project procedures.
Procurement
- Collaboration in the preparation of requests for tenders for materials, labor and equipment according to the needs of the Purchasing/Subcontracting department;
- Collaboration in the study and analysis of the bids received;
- Validation of the good match between the purchases made and the allocated budget.
Manufacturing / Subcontracting
- Regular monitoring of the progress of the manufacturing process both internally and with potential subcontractors.
Customer Relations
- Confirmation that the client's objectives on the project have been taken into account in terms of deadline, quality and compliance with technical specifications;
- Realization of customer invoicing in collaboration with the accounting department;
- Participation in customer meetings according to the customer's needs;
- Drafting and/or sending contract deliverables;
- Management of amendments and complaints.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or technical degree in mechanical, electrical or mechatronics engineering – an asset
- Project management experience
- Experience on site (equipment installation, etc.) (asset)
- Financial Management Knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project or equivalent (Primavera, an asset)
- English fluent spoken and written.
- Basic knowledge of French is an asset
- Autonomy
- Developed team spirit
- Ability to develop good interpersonal relationships
- Organized and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent analytical and synthesis skills
