Project Manager, STIIC (2-year contract)

SingHealth Translational Immunology and Inflammation Centre (STIIC) drives cutting edge translational research in immunology and inflammation in human health and disease, and has successfully embarked on translational research projects in various focus areas like Rheumatology, Onco-Immunology, Paediatric Inflammatory diseases, Allergy, Ocular Immunology, Immunology of Heart failure among several others.

We are seeking a seasoned and highly motivated Program Manager to lead the strategic development of high-impact translational biomedical projects, funded under the Platform for Translational Systems Medicine (PTSM). The Program Manager will engage with local and international experts in the field to build campaigns that will attract high-calibre proposals, create a critical mass of innovators, and manage grant calls that provide resources to cross-disciplinary teams in their pursuit of excellence.

You will collaborate with the Executive Committee and stakeholders to prepare the platform structure for the Platform for Translational Systems Medicine. You will prepare and execute the publicity campaign for the platform and grant calls, manage manpower planning, and assist in project selection. You will also coordinate the Executive Committee work, act as a liaison for ad hoc members, and lead the project administration team for the purposes of the project.

Job requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Communications, or related fields
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in working in a biomedical research programme or within national/international grant bodies
