Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a mega‑project, overseeing scope, team leadership, and execution. Responsibilities include developing work plans, WBS, deliverables, organizational chart, budget, schedule, subcontractor strategy, risk management, and resource forecasting.

The role involves managing junior team members and ensuring project governance, reporting, milestone progress, stakeholder engagement, and adherence to baseline and change controls.

Candidates should have strong experience in project delivery and execution methodologies, including engineering, procurement, contract management, and project controls.

Your Role
  • Project Planning: Develop detailed plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations; define scope and deliverables per client requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Assemble and lead multidisciplinary teams; ensure collaboration among stakeholders.
  • People Management: Recruit, train, and manage project staff; oversee career development and resolve performance issues.
  • Contract & Risk Management: Administer contracts, manage changes, suppliers, and risks using best practices (e.g., Monte Carlo analysis).
  • Safety & Quality: Enforce safety programs and quality standards; implement corrective actions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs and maintain rigorous reporting protocols.
  • Procurement: Oversee subcontractor and supplier management, ensuring compliance with flow‑down requirements.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as primary contact; maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to ethical, regulatory, cybersecurity, and IP standards.
  • Nuclear Safety: Uphold nuclear and industrial safety programs and enforce training and performance standards.
About You
  • Language: Mandarin proficiency is an asset.
  • Experience: 5+ years in engineering/manufacturing projects; retube project experience preferred.
  • Nuclear Expertise: Knowledge of nuclear supply chain, safety culture, and QA programs.
  • Leadership: Team building, people management, and strong Health & Safety focus.
  • Technical: Ability to interpret drawings; understanding of supplier qualification, reactor components, and CANDU retube processes.
  • Project Delivery: Familiarity with earned value, critical path, contract management, procurement, and inspection plans.
  • Communication: Excellent organizational and client relationship skills.
  • Education & Certifications: BSc in Engineering and PMP certification are assets.
