What you can expect to do here:
  • Drive resourcing and budget management to keep projects on track and profitable.
  • Coordinate engineering deliverables with discipline leads to ensure seamless integration across all project phases.
  • Oversee man-loading planning to optimize team performance and resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and cost control reports to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Manage project changes proactively to minimize risk and maintain scope integrity.
  • Implement and uphold HSE and quality procedures for every project to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Represent WSP with confidence in meetings and presentations, providing clear reporting and addressing client concerns effectively.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to all matters related to project scope and execution.
  • Capture and report lessons learned from previous and current projects to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead or support business development initiatives, including proposal preparation and project scoping with discipline leads.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
What you'll bring to WSP:
  • Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree in Engineering
  • Must have at least 7+ years of experience in a consulting environment focused on Mining and/or Heavy Industrial clients and projects
  • Must have at 3 years of Project Management experience managing multidisciplinary projects
  • EIT, CET or P.Eng. designation
  • A self-motivated individual looking for advancement opportunities
  • Ability to easily interact with clients in a multi-disciplined environment
  • Must have a valid driving license
