Responsibilities
  • Work within standards defined by the project management office and collaborate to establish new standards when needed.
  • Collaborate with program areas to develop proposals, project charters, planning documents, and project artifacts.
  • Work with project leads to develop a project organization structure with clearly defined roles and responsibilities.
  • Manage, document, and control projects to achieve goals related to scope, budget, schedule, quality, and performance standards.
  • Identify project milestones, success factors, dependencies, policies, metrics, and resource requirements.
  • Contribute to project deliverables such as research, survey design, and report drafting to support quality and timely outcomes.
  • Monitor, document, and report on project progress against the plan.
  • Plan, lead, and participate in project and steering committee meetings.
  • Document changes in scope, budget, or schedule, coordinate signoffs, and communicate updates to sponsors, working groups, and the project management office.
  • Identify issues, risks, and opportunities and implement proactive strategies.
  • Provide business or process analysis, change management, and communication support as needed.
  • Complete proper handover of project outputs, including all relevant documentation, to the project management office.
  • Assess project outcomes with sponsors and identify opportunities for improvement; document and share lessons learned.

  • Experience developing project deliverables such as charters, business cases, briefing notes, status reports, risk logs, and project closures.
  • Experience making recommendations on technical or complex business issues without established guidelines.
  • Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
Should Have
  • Experience creating and managing project forecasts using project management tools.
  • Experience leading and facilitating meetings with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience using project tools in a server environment.
  • Experience working in or for the public sector.
