Job summary

A leading Ontario-based industrial contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage customer maintenance and project needs. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of mechanical project management experience and a valid driver's licence. Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of mechanical project management experience in a multi-trade environment.
  • Valid driver's licence with a clean record.
  • Willing to travel throughout Southwestern Ontario.
  • Competent with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Experience using CRM tools.

The Role:
  • Manage current customer maintenance and project needs, and anticipate future requirements
  • Develop and manage new customer relationships
  • Plan and manage projects
  • Prepare job tool lists, coordinate site equipment, and manage subcontractors
  • Attend job walks and project launch meetings with customers and maintenance teams to ensure effective project launches
  • Respond to customer inquiries, breakdowns, and manpower support requests
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of mechanical project management experience in a multi-trade environment (i.e. millwrighting, electrical, fabrication, equipment relocation, pipe fitting)
  • Valid driver’s licence with a clean record
  • Willing to travel throughout Southwestern Ontario
  • Open to learning new software and mobile applications
  • Competent with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Experience using CRM tools
  • Ideal candidate is a licensed millwright, although not a requirement
