Responsibilities
- Provide project leadership, structure, and accountability to a multi-disciplinary team representing SCA, SHA, eHealth, and the Ministry of Health.
- Manage the project roadmap, ensuring all working groups (Clinical, Lab, IT, Community Engagement, and Operations) are aligned, interdependencies are clear, and timelines are met.
- Develop and maintain project plans, manage scope, schedules, risk registers, and communication plans in collaboration with the various work stream leads and accountables.
- Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, ensuring materials, decisions, and next steps are clearly documented and tracked.
- Oversee project performance metrics and reporting for the Business Owners, Executive Sponsors and Steering Committee.
- Support change management, stakeholder engagement, and readiness planning across partner organizations.
- Promote collaboration and a “one-team” mindset among all stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in health administration, business, computer science, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of experience managing integrated projects and teams.
- 3+ years of Healthcare related experience.
- Proven ability to lead through influence, manage ambiguity, and deliver results in partnership environments.
- Proven experience leading large, multi-stakeholder projects in healthcare.
- Working knowledge of healthcare program development and operational implementation.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and principles, including change management, stakeholder engagement, and quality improvement.
- Healthcare program experience involving collaboration across clinical, technical, and operational teams.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills to guide cross-functional teams through project phases.
- Ability to rally teams under pressure and maintain focus on objectives, outcomes, and the broader system impact.
- Executive-level communication ability, including the skill to present complex information to audiences with varying levels of technical and clinical understanding.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills, demonstrating tact, diplomacy, and professionalism.
- Ability to comprehend complex business and clinical issues, connecting strategic intent to operational realities.
- Demonstrated systems thinking, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple interdependent workstreams.
Preferred Accreditation
- Project Management Professional designation preferred.
- Additional certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, Prosci) considered an asset.
