Project Manager – Commercial Doors, Frames & Hardware – Dartmouth, NS

We are currently seeking a Project Manager – Commercial Doors, Frames & Hardware to join our Dartmouth, NS team. The Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining and growing the existing customer base and sales volumes by developing a strong working knowledge of the door, frame, and architectural hardware industry and providing all customers the highest level of service while adhering to corporate initiatives and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers on the phone, in-person, and electronically.
  • Estimate product pricing for customer projects.
  • Prepare job‑specific submittals for approval.
  • Enter orders, quotes and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate product sourcing & arrival.
  • Identify opportunities and grow business.
  • Gain a strong working knowledge of the company’s product offering and sourcing options.
  • Interpret detailed architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Prepare detailed submittals/drawings for customer approval and project use.
  • Manage, detail, and order material for various projects ensuring products are delivered correct, on time, and on budget.
  • Support and assist branch personnel, customers, architects, and vendors to meet project goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in the Door, Frames, & Hardware industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and materials.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management or scheduling software.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as working in a cohesive team environment.

Full‑time, on‑site position. Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
