The Project Planning and Implementation Service is responsible for establishing strategies that allow the City of Laval to optimize its infrastructure investments and carry out design and construction work. The Service is currently seeking a project manager for major projects to lead a major industrial project, essential for the territorial development of the City.
Reporting to the division head, you will be responsible for implementing the major projects under your responsibility led by the Service. More specifically, you will be tasked with planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all phases of project management for which you will be responsible, in accordance with the governance framework for projects and programs of the City of Laval. You will be responsible for ensuring collaboration among all stakeholders, monitoring risk management and results while continuously acting to maximize efficiency in terms of costs, deadlines, scope, and quality of work.
Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction field, including 5 years in managing major projects corresponding to the following specifications :
