In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

• Monitor and control project finances (accruals, forecast, budgets, invoicing)
• Ensure monthly financial management cycle’s timelines are respected (forecast submissions in IPPF)
• Perform monthly revenue and cost reconciliation (actuals/forecast/price case)
• Manage project financials and controls (update weekly financial forecasts by collaborating with project managers, stream leads)
• Analyze and assess project financial health and support project managers and stream leads in implementing mitigation measures as well as assisting them with reporting
• Report financial status to the Account teams
• Billing submissions

Required education

Bachelor’s Degree.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Candidates must be located in Canada and must have Eligibility for Security Clearance.
• Eligible for Government of Canada Reliability Security Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Administration.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience with project financial management.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of IPPF.
