Job summary

Fidelity Canada seeks a Project Manager to lead a multi-year enterprise automation initiative in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. You will coordinate with business stakeholders and distributed teams to plan, execute and deliver scalable solutions for the Canadian market.

The role requires 3–5 years in project management within financial services, strong Agile knowledge (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe), and excellent communication with executives and vendors.

Qualifications

  • Completed Post-secondary Degree (University/College) or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of Project Management experience in the financial industry, preferably within Capital Markets
  • Experience managing process automation initiatives
  • Working experience within an Agile delivery environment and knowledge of various agile frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Lean
  • Agile/SAFe/Scrum Master Certification is an asset, PMP Certification or equivalent

The work location for this role is 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, when the work location will change to the new Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway.

What You Will Do

The Project Manager will support a multi-year enterprise automation initiative. They will be responsible for successful planning and execution of cross-functional initiatives that define and deliver solutions to meet business needs, tackle business problems and develop new service and product offerings to our clients. Fidelity Clearing initiatives drive scalability, innovation, and continuous improvement of our services in the Canadian Marketplace. The ideal candidate is an adaptable professional, with an entrepreneurial mindset, a high degree of initiative; comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic, and highly collaborative environment.

The Project Manager will be accountable for planning and executing projects by:

  • Strategizing on delivery approach with business stakeholders, and leadership

What We Are Looking For:
  • Completed Post-secondary Degree (University/College) or equivalent work experience

  • Excellent grasp of Agile values, principles, and practices including experience facilitating events like Sprint Planning, standups, retrospectives, and reviews
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities in a matrix environment
  • Demonstrated domain experience with book of record and operations is a strong asset
  • Able to build relationships and manage multiple external vendors with the focus on integration of vendor solutions with internal ecosystems of processes and technologies
  • Possesses strong communication and influencing skills

  • Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus: Total annual cash compensation (base salary plus target bonus) ranges from $105,000 to $155,000, based on experience and qualifications.
  • RRSP Contribution: After 6 months of employment, we invest in your future with an RRSP contribution—no employee matching required.
