A leading engineering firm in Dartmouth is seeking a Project Manager to oversee engineering performance and drive projects to success. This role requires strong leadership skills and at least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments. As Project Manager, Engineering Performance, you’ll be at the heart of our Engineering Department’s success. You’ll lead the charge in managing programmatic interfaces and work management systems, ensuring our engineering projects run smoothly, efficiently, and with precision.
You’ll support key processes like Earned Value Management, Vendor Oversight, Risk Mitigation, Contract Compliance, Deliverable Tracking, and Quality & Change Management. You’ll also be the go-to expert for engineering metrics, process improvement, and performance tracking.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across teams, solving complex challenges, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced, industrial setting.
Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Please note this position requires a full-time, in-office presence.
