Job summary

Artelia Canada recherche un/une chef de projet senior pour conduire des projets pluridisciplinaires à St. John’s, NL. Vous serez responsable du management, du suivi technique et financier, et des relations avec les clients.

Le candidat idéal possède un diplôme en génie pertinent, une licence P.Eng., au moins 5 ans d’expérience et d’excellentes compétences en communication et en gestion du temps. Poste en établissement avec lieu de travail sur site.

Qualifications

• Diplôme d’ingénieur dans l’une des disciplines citées.
• P.Eng. et inscription au PEGNL en règle.
• Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience pertinente.
• Capacité à communiquer observations et conclusions aux clients.
• Permis de conduire valide.
• Excellent niveau d’anglais écrit et parlé.
• Autonomie, esprit d’initiative et sens du détail.
• Solides compétences en gestion du temps et priorisation.

Responsibilities

• Contribuer à la croissance et au développement commercial de l’entreprise;
• Rencontrer les clients et entretenir de solides relations d’affaires;
• Assurer la gestion de projets pluridisciplinaires;
• Participer et collaborer aux appels d’offres;
• Réaliser des études, analyses, concepts ainsi que des plans et cahiers des charges;
• Gérer les plans et les spécifications de conception pour des projets pluridisciplinaires;
• Estimer les coûts de construction et évaluer les quantités;
• Gérer la coordination des travaux avec les différents départements;
• Suivre l’avancement des travaux et veiller au respect des plans et cahiers des charges;
• Participer aux réunions sur site;
• Assurer et gérer la relation avec les clients pour les projets;
• Assurer l’avancement technique et financier des projets;
• Gérer les finances du projet afin de respecter le budget;
• Assurer une communication adéquate des informations aux parties prenantes.

• Contribute to the firm's growth and business development efforts;
• Meet with clients and maintain strong business relationships;
• Ensure the management of multidisciplinary projects;
• Participate and collaborate in proposal calls;
• Participate in the realization of studies, analyses, concepts as well as plans and specifications;
• Manage design plans and specifications for multidisciplinary projects;
• Estimate construction costs and evaluate quantities;
• Manage the work coordination with the different departments involved;
• Follow the work progress and ensure compliance with the plans and specifications;
• Participate in site meetings;
• Assume and manage the relationship with the clients for the projects;
• Ensure the projects' progress, both technically and financially;
• Ensure the projects' financial management in order to respect the budget (document discrepancies, implement various measures as needed, etc.);
• Ensure proper communication of information to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering or mechanical engineering;
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and member in good standing of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists Newfoundland and Labrador (PEGNL);
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience;
• Ability to effectively communicate observations and findings to clients in an advisory or expert capacity;
• Valid driver's license;
• Excellent written and spoken English;
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive;
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
