Job summary

PMI-SAC in Calgary seeks a Senior Project Manager for electric power generation projects in a manufacturing environment. You will lead end-to-end projects from contract award through fabrication, testing, and delivery, acting as the main client contact.

The ideal candidate has 10–15 years of PM experience in power generation, manufacturing, EPC or heavy industry, with strong leadership and communication skills. This onsite role offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of PM experience in power, manufacturing, fabrication, EPC or heavy industry.
• Experience with engineered-to-order or custom manufacturing projects.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, and procurement processes.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple power generation projects from kickoff through delivery and commissioning.
• Act as main client contact—managing communication, expectations, and issue resolution.
• Own project performance: schedule, budget, forecasting, risk, and profitability.
• Coordinate across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams.

Senior Project Manager – Electric Power Generation Location: Calgary, AB (onsite) Start Date: ASAP Duration: 3–6 month contract About the Role We’re looking for a seasoned Project Manager to lead complex electric power and power generation projects in a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and working closely with cross-functionalteams to deliver high-quality engineered solutions. You’ll be managing projects end-to-end — from contract award through fabrication, testing, and final delivery — while acting as the main point of contact for clients and keeping everything moving on track.
