Job summary

The City of Toronto is recruiting a Project Manager ECS to lead multidisciplinary projects across water treatment plants, pumping stations, reservoirs, and waste facilities. You will manage studies and deliverables through all project phases, coordinating with stakeholders and senior management.

Eligible candidates will have post-secondary engineering degrees and proven PM experience in consulting/construction, with an Ontario G license preferred.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering is required.
• Demonstrated project management experience on consulting and construction assignments in water/wastewater.
• Ontario G driver’s license is preferred.
• Experience writing and presenting reports, RFPs or proposals is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with stakeholders and clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management and engineering expertise for studies from preliminary to post-construction.
• Provide project management advice, RFPs, construction tender packages and related tasks.
• Ensure permits and approvals are secured and stakeholders are identified and consulted.
• Prepare analyses, justifications and evaluations to support change orders for senior management.

Job requirement

• Candidates appointed at this post must have completed post-secondary education in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering to be eligible for this post.
