GHD in Canada is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex, multidisciplinary facilities and infrastructure projects. Based in Ottawa with flexibility to work from GTA offices, the role emphasizes project leadership, technical oversight, design integration, delivery execution, and client advisory.

Our hybrid model combines in-office collaboration three days a week with flexible arrangements. You will grow with Ontario projects, oversee multi-discipline teams, and contribute to business

Qualifications

• 3–6 years experience in the consulting or construction industry

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver demolition and closure projects across Ontario and Canada
• Coordinate multi-discipline project teams and oversee design integration
• Develop design concepts, technical specifications, and cost estimates
• Contribute to business development initiatives in the Ontario market
• Prepare tenders and proposals, and participate in field investigations
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and client requirements
• Provide client advisory and project leadership throughout lifecycle

Who are we looking for?

Our Property and Building team is growing, and we are seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, multidisciplinary facilities and infrastructure projects. This role is based in Ottawa, with flexibility to work from any of our GTA offices.

This position requires a balance of project leadership and technical oversight, with a strong focus on design integration, delivery execution, and client advisory.

Working within our Decommissioning & Demolition team, you will

• Support and help grow our team in Ontario while working on a diverse range of clients and engineering projects including demolition and building renovation projects throughout Canada


• Act as the project manager for existing and future demolition and closure projects


• Actively participate in business development initiatives to help grow our business in the Ontario market


• Supervise and coordinate multi-discipline project teams


• Produce design calculations and contribute to the formulation of design concepts and technical specifications


• Assist in quantity take-off and cost estimating assignments


• Deliver and be accountable for technical assignments


• Lead the preparation of tenders and proposals


• Participate in field investigations including material take-offs, existing conditions assessments and sampling for hazardous materials


• Develop your decision‑making, communication and technical skills

What you will bring to the team

• Minimum of 3-6 years experience in the consulting or construction industry

• The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $110,000. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for GHD locations in its major city centres. Ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At GHD, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location.
