NSB Omega is searching for a Project Manager - Capital Planning for our MAJOR Utilities client in St. John's, NL.

Assignment Description

Project manager role focused on capital planning and stakeholder coordination.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop project trackers, monitor progress, and provide updates on filings.
  • Support submission and approval of documentation including FEED Alignment Documents (FADs), Basis of Estimates (BOEs), and project proposals.
  • Identify and manage schedule risks.
  • Manage overall master lists and change management.
  • Work with stakeholders (Regulatory Affairs, Engineering Services, Business Development, Transmission Planning, Long-Term Asset Planning) to develop execution strategies.
  • Provide support to Management.
  • Track and facilitate approval of new support requests, review and recommend appropriate action.
Education And Experience Required
  • A university degree in Engineering or technical Project Management or related field with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
  • The ability to consider differing points of view.
  • The ability to multitask.
  • Experience dealing with customers internally and externally.
  • A background in regulatory strategy and process is considered an asset.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective working relationships with members of various teams.
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with MS SharePoint.
