A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROJECT MANAGER

As a Project Manager, you'll be at the helm of every project, ensuring it progresses smoothly from start to finish. Your day will involve coordinating schedules, managing subcontractors, and conducting site visits to maintain safety, cleanliness, and quality standards. You'll oversee material deliveries, resolve any discrepancies, and ensure inspections are completed to meet compliance and client expectations. Whether you're organizing toolbox meetings, managing change orders, or addressing project challenges, you'll keep stakeholders informed with clear, solution-focused communication. By juggling multiple priorities and collaborating with diverse teams, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience managing construction projects, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and site inspections.
  • Strong understanding of safety and quality standards in construction.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage client expectations and resolve issues.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
  • Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check (CRC).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
