Our firm is a growing General Contractor in the Vancouver area, respected for delivering high-quality commercial, residential, and institutional projects. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team and uphold our commitment to excellence, safety, and client satisfaction.
Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive performance-based bonus structure.

Your Role and Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager, you will be the central figure ensuring your projects are delivered successfully. You will have full ownership of the project lifecycle, from pre-construction to final handover. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with contract documents, schedule, and budget.
- Developing and meticulously managing project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Serving as the primary liaison between clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, fostering strong, professional relationships.
- Leading project meetings and ensuring clear, consistent communication among all stakeholders.
- Proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks.
- Negotiating and managing contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
- Championing a culture of safety on-site, ensuring all health and safety regulations are rigorously followed.
- Providing strong leadership and mentorship to project coordinators and site personnel.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A minimum of 3years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on projects in the Metro Vancouver area.
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a diploma in Building Technology is highly preferred.
- A proven track record of successfully completing multi-million dollar construction projects on time and on budget.
- In-depth knowledge of the BC Building Code, local bylaws, and standard construction practices (e.g., CCDC contracts).
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and the MS Office Suite.
- PMP, Gold Seal Certification, or active candidacy is a significant asset.
- A natural ability to problem-solve and make informed decisions under pressure.
