Responsibilities

• Take outputs of the Data Asset Discovery and translate them into a delivery road map.
• Lead and coordinate multiple workstreams across Data, Cyber, Technology, Product and the wider business.
• Identify, classify and assign ownership for critical data assets.
• Establish governance processes for data ownership, lifecycle, retention, protection and access.
• Build an enduring data governance capability embedded in day-to-day operations.
• Strengthen governance around data access and least privilege.
• Support information protection, data clean-up and knowledge management initiatives.
• Coordinate SharePoint governance capabilities across teams.
• Define information lifecycle and retention requirements with appropriate periods.
• Support business continuity planning by identifying datasets underpinning critical services.
• Collaborate with senior Data and Cyber leadership to keep priorities aligned.
• Manage relationships with third-party suppliers, engineers, product managers and technical teams.
• Facilitate planning, decision-making, prioritisation and delivery across a complex stakeholder environment.
• Maintain oversight of risks, issues, dependencies, milestones and delivery progress.

A large, complex organisation is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a key portfolio of work focused on treating organisational data as a strategic asset
