Job summary

Ledcor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects on-site in Saskatoon. You will oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate project activities with teams, clients, and stakeholders, and resolve challenges to maintain steady progress.

The role emphasizes strong safety leadership, schedule development, budget tracking, and contract administration to meet client requirements and company standards.

Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of experience in project management within the building construction sector.
  • Strong safety mindset with a proactive safety culture and OH&S compliance.
  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Proficiency in construction scheduling, including CPM scheduling, baseline development, progress tracking, and recovery scheduling.
  • Experience with project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, and cost-to-complete analysis.
  • Solid understanding of construction contract administration, including lump sum, construction management, and design-build delivery models, as well as change order and subcontract management.

  • Prepares, tracks, and forecasts project budgets, costs, cash flow, and earned value metrics to ensure financial performance targets are achieved.
  • Administers contracts and subcontracts, including change orders, claims, scope management, and contractual correspondence.
  • Oversees procurement activities, including tendering, bid evaluations, purchase orders, material deliveries, and subcontractor management.
  • Monitors project performance through regular reporting, progress measurement, risk tracking, and cost-to-complete forecasting.
