Job summary

BWXT Medical Ltd. is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams through contract execution, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure customer satisfaction. You will drive reporting, resource optimization, and change management while maintaining data integrity.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of PM experience, with preferred nuclear industry exposure. Hybrid work in Kanata, ON, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or other suitable field from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of Project Management experience.
• Understanding of scheduling, earned-value management, budget controls, and change management.
• Understanding of contract management.

Position Overview

The Project Manager has accountability for their assigned projects (budget, schedule, and overall customer satisfaction); and to ensure the Company’s resources are properly directed for satisfactory contract execution. The Project Manager will lead projects with influence, and execute control over budgets, schedules, and non-technical communication.

• Drive improvement: Identify risks early, mitigate challenges, and champion continuous improvement in governance, tools, and best practices.
• Support growth: Contribute to contract proposals, subcontracting efforts, and ensure compliance with organizational procedures.
• Ensure financial health: Partner with Accounts Receivable to secure timely payments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or other suitable field from an accredited university
• 5+ years of Project Management experience
• Demonstrable understanding of project management fundamentals like, scheduling, earned-value management, budget controls, and change management
• Demonstrable understanding of contract management
• nding and experience regarding client management and commitment to client relationships and mutual success
• Professional mastery of English, in written and verbal forms

Preferred Qualifications

• 10 years of related industry experience
• 5 years of project management experience in a project based organization
• Experience in the nuclear energy production industry
• High level of competency with Microsoft Excel
• Project Management Professional certification

At BWXT, we are committed to a fair, transparent, and inclusive hiring process.

The base salary range for this position in Ontario (CA-ON)at the start of employment is expected to be between $$85,000.00 and $$126,000.00 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
