This Position reports to: Manager, Project Managers

As part of the ABB Motion Service Canada Operation team, you will be reporting to the Head of Project Management and lead the execution of Drive and Motor Service projects. You will maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring that customer requirements and all targets are met, providing excellent service at every stage of the customer orders.

The work model for the role is hybrid.

Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring compliance with ABB processes in a fast-track environment.
  • Own and resolve customer issues, driving them to successful completion.
  • Develop and execute service project plans, leading planning and implementation activities.
  • Coordinate project teams, including engineering, testing, site work, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor orders for cost control, resource efficiency, and HSE compliance throughout execution.
  • Analyze project risks and document lessons learned for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to identify new business opportunities and prepare quotes or contract changes.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and long-term engagement.
Qualifications
  • Education & Experience: Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree with 3-5 years of project execution experience (or equivalent relevant experience); PMP designation preferred.
  • Technical Expertise: Knowledge and/or experience with drives and motor products, ability to lead technical discussions; proficiency in Microsoft Office, with SAP and logistics knowledge considered assets.
  • Core Skills: Strong communication and customer focus; planning, organizing, problem-solving; influencing and negotiation; ability to work in virtual teams across time zones; sense of urgency and ownership.
  • Additional Competencies: Demonstrated ability to manage fast paced projects while maintaining high standards of collaboration and technical accuracy.
  • French and English. French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
