Job summary

A leading project management firm in Ontario, Canada is looking for a skilled project manager. Responsibilities include liaising with clients, preparing work schedules, and ensuring project timelines and budgets are met. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in the Interior Design Industry and possess strong communication skills. Adaptability and resourcefulness in a dynamic environment are crucial.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in the Interior Design Industry/Renovation.
  • Candidates with experience in Architecture and Interior Works will be advantageous.
  • Able to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with Project Management Agent and potential clients to create new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Business Development Team during the pitching stage.
  • Prepare work schedules and monitor project costing.
  • Ensure work progress is smooth and completed on time and budget.
  • Day to Day Project Management liaison with all parties involved.

Job description
Responsibilities

Meeting Project Management (PJM) Agent & any potential client to create new business opportunities under project management platform.

To work closely with Business Development Team during the pitching stage.

To attend site meetings, attend client’s briefing / site measurement.

To Prepare work schedules and monitoring of project costing during Pitching Stage.

To Prepare work progress report and coordination with all partied involved including internal Construction & Commercial team during Construction Stage.

To ensure work progress smoothly & completed with target time and budget.

To ensure the profit margin is achieved accordingly the set target.

Arrange submission of plans to local authorities for approval and arrange inspections of building work to kick off projects with internal construction team.

Recommend nonconforming product disposition actions and corrective/ improvement actions for project/product deficiencies

Day to Day Project Management, include liaison with all parties involved in the project (include the Architects, Designer, Consultant, Main & Sub Contractors, supplier and other M & E Contractor etc.)

Qualifications

Min 5 years of related experience in Interior Design Industry/Renovation

Diploma or Degree holder Engineering / Building / Construction, Architecture or equivalent (Candidates with experience in the Architecture and Interior Works will be advantageous.)

Able to work under pressure and with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines

Knowledgeable in project management processes for all stages of project.

Service-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication.

Resourceful: Able to adapt according to the changing environment

Able to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors.
