Description

Premier Project Consultants specializes in building design project management and development of multi-unit residential and commercial buildings in Canada, the USA and Caribbean. We are seeking a talented and passionate Project Manager with experience managing residential building projects from the ground up to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • In collaboration with senior management define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals.
  • Develop project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely manner.
  • Conceive, develop and deliver techniques, practices and procedures for contract formation and administration.
  • Develop and deliver bid proposals, requirements documentation and tender documents.
  • Assist with contract change management and contract closure as required.
  • Establish and maintain regular written and verbal communications with senior management regarding pertinent contract activities.
  • Provide appropriate contract and subcontract information to accounting department as necessary.
  • Ability to work under deadlines.
  • Promote and work within the guidelines of the company’s Occupational Health & Safety program.
  • All other duties as assigned by management.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years as a lead in mid to high-rise residential building projects.
  • A recognized degree / diploma in a related field.
  • Excellent project management skills including the ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g. Primavera, Procore, MS Project, Jonas).
  • Knowledge of building regulations, building codes and safety standards.
  • PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
