Overview

Job Description: We currently have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Project Manager to support our client, a leading military defense manufacturing company based in Ingersoll, ON! The successful candidate will lead the planning, design, construction, and commissioning of a new manufacturing facility - ensuring timely delivery, on-budget performance, and alignment with operational goals. You will oversee every phase of the greenfield project and coordinate among teams to build an efficient and compliant process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead planning through commissioning a new facility expansion project, ensuring seamless hand-over.
  • Oversee external contractors, architects, engineers, and construction partners to meet project milestones.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and leadership to design efficient workflows, layouts, and processes.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and resources; assess and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Drive stakeholder communication, including regular reporting to senior leaders.
  • Supervise commissioning and transition from construction to operations.
  • Uphold project management best practices, including quality control and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field; advanced degree is considered an asset
  • 7+ years of applied experience in project management, with knowledge of delivering large-scale capital projects in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Proven experience leading greenfield facility builds - strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction management, manufacturing operations, and process design.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects with multiple contractors and internal teams.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is considered an asset.
  • Must be able to pass the Controlled Goods Program
  • Must be willing to travel to different locations across Ontario.
