Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a Project Leader to manage facility activation projects within the CBRM Redevelopment. You will coordinate design planning, specifications, reviews, drawings and tender documentation while interfacing with consultants, contractors and NSH stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires engineering or PM experience in building infrastructure, preferably in healthcare, with AM/asset certifications considered an advantage.

Qualifikationen

• Registration as a Professional Engineer or equivalent.
• Experience leading building infrastructure projects, preferably in healthcare.
• PM certification is an asset.

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Director of Planning and Infrastructure at the CBRM Redevelopment, the Project Leader is responsible for the planning, coordination, and project management of assigned facility activation projects within the CBRM Redevelopment project, participating and supporting functional design planning, specification writing and review, drawing review, cost estimation, and tender document coordination. This includes overseeing and interfacing with design consultants and contractors and managing NSH stakeholders and clinicians to ensure projects are delivered within budget and to project milestone dates and, most importantly, meeting the objectives of the project.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

• Registered Engineer in a relevant Engineering discipline having 3-5 years project management experience; or
• Project Manager with 5-7 years of experience in a Building Infrastructure or Health Care Environment
• Professional Engineer designation an asset
• Certified Engineering Technologist an asset
• Project Management Professional certification an asset

Hours

• Long assignment full-time position; 75 hours biweekly
• Approximately 42 months

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Scale Type: Non-Union
Band: NU05
Hourly Rate: $45.75 - $56.04
Annual Salary: $89,205 - $109,276
