A leading construction company in Canada is seeking a Site Human Resources Specialist to provide on-site HR support. The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of HR experience and a Bachelor's degree, with strong communication and analytical skills. As a Site HR Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our people where it matters most, on the project. Now we’re looking for a Site Human Resources Specialist to bring HR expertise directly to the jobsite. This isn’t HR behind a desk; it’s HR in the field, where you’ll be the first point of contact for employees, supervisors, and project leaders. You’ll handle the day‑to‑day HR needs of the project while partnering with our centralized HR team (1HR) and HR Business Partners for specialized support.
Kiewit Energy Canada is headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. We are a major industrial contractor that work on projects that involve construction of oil & gas facilities such as oilsands processing, including steam‑assisted gravity drainage facilities, upgrading & refining, midstream facilities, power & co‑generation, terminal projects (ex. LNG, LPG, etc.), and major mine developments. We also have a Modular Yard facility in Edmonton, Alberta. Our engineering branch is a leading‑edge division that offers innovative engineering services for our current projects and new pursuits in Canada. Our design services group are based in Calgary and Houston offering expertise in process, piping, mechanical, electrical and civil/structural disciplines.
The field location for this role is in Squamish, British Columbia. It is a 2 week on 1 week off rotation with camp accommodations. After this assignment, the next project could be anywhere in Canada. The ability to travel and relocate as‑needed is key for this role.
