Job summary

A leading electrical services provider in Alberta is seeking an Electrical Engineer to assist in planning, scheduling, and supervising electrical installation works. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering and 2–5 years of relevant experience, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and conducting site inspections. This position offers a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Engineering / Building Services.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and control systems.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in electrical construction projects.

  • Assist in planning and scheduling electrical works.
  • Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and other M&E disciplines.
  • Supervise and monitor electrical installation works.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and client specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
  • Prepare project documentation, such as drawings, material submissions, and method statements.
  • Support the testing, commissioning, and handover process for electrical systems.
  • Ensure all test reports and as-built drawings are properly submitted.
