Key Responsibilities of Project Engineer Manager
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers to deliver projects successfully.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and scope to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Develop and implement project management processes and industry best practices.
  • Manage project Profit and Loss (P&L) and ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present reports and updates to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Travel to project and customer sites within New Brunswick and New England as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience managing or contributing to major infrastructure projects; experience in rail projects is preferred.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Experience leading engineering teams in civil engineering or construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Experience managing Profit and Loss (P&L) for projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Previous commercial experience is considered an asset.
