Qualifications

Based in Sudbury, the Project Engineer (P.Eng.) will report to the Project Manager, Engineering, and will have a wide range of duties which ultimately focus on the review and preparation of technical deliverables for clients on Land Development and Linear Infrastructure projects. You will be part of a team that provides solutions in a diverse range of engineering, including Municipal, Transportation, Environmental, Drainage, and Stormwater Management.

What You’ll Do

As part of the TULLOCH Engineering team, you will:

  • Work in a fast-paced and challenging environment with our Planning and Engineering teams on a variety of land development and linear infrastructure projects
  • Be responsible for the successful delivery of civil engineering projects including: Lot Grading Plans, Industrial, Commercial and Institutional (ICI) Developments, Site Plan Control Applications, and Residential Subdivisions
  • Prepare and review technical deliverables including stormwater management designs and reports and functional servicing studies
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to prepare and review detailed engineering drawings
  • Apply technical modelling software such as Visual OTTHYMO, PCSWMM, and HEC-RAS
  • Provide on-site technical review and general review certification when required
  • Prepare and review project cost estimates and bid documentation and perform bid evaluation
  • Coordinate project needs with the Project Manager, Discipline Manager, clients, regulatory entities, vendors, and subcontractors

Who You Are
  • You have 2-3 years of experience working as a P.Eng. in Ontario in a Civil Engineering role
  • Valid P.Eng. licence through PEO
  • You have robust knowledge in stormwater management, site servicing, and water resources engineering
  • You have experience completing Municipal Class EA Planning process
  • You have a thorough understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines, and standards
  • You can exercise independent judgment within defined parameters and in alignment with business objectives
  • You have strong computer skills with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and technical modelling software
  • You are willing to travel periodically as needed

  • Valid Class G driver’s licence
