Job summary

Insight Global in Canada is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to lead electrical design and project execution for complex power distribution and control systems. The role requires a P.Eng. and stamping experience with drawings and technical packages.

The candidate will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, support commissioning and startup activities, and act as a liaison between customers, vendors, and project managers, leveraging strong problem-solving and automation expertise.

Qualifications

• Ontario P.Eng. in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of engineering experience in electrical design and project execution.
• Experience stamping electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical packages.

Responsibilities

• Support commissioning, installation, testing, and startup activities.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables across multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide customer-facing engineering support and act as technical liaison between customers, vendors, PMs and engineering teams.
• Support engineering change packages, technical reviews, and project execution.
