We’re hiring a Project Director to lead client relationships and oversee delivery across a portfolio of projects spanning government, non‑profit, and business sectors. This senior leadership role blends client strategy, delivery oversight, and business development. You’ll work closely with project managers, cross‑functional teams, and clients to ensure impactful outcomes, while also helping shape new opportunities and mentoring our internal team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary lead for a portfolio of government, non‑profit, and business clients
  • Understand client goals and design practical strategies to help them succeed
  • Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and planning processes
  • Anticipate challenges, manage shifting needs, and ensure client satisfaction
Project Oversight & Delivery
  • Partner with Project Managers to scope, plan, and execute projects
  • Ensure delivery is on time, on budget, and aligned with client goals
  • Track project profitability, resource allocation, and performance metrics
  • Address roadblocks and make course corrections quickly
  • Review and refine deliverables to meet quality standards
Business Development & Growth
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities aligned with Forward Creative’s strengths
  • Contribute to proposals, pricing, and client presentations
  • Build and maintain a strong network across key sectors and regions
  • Represent Forward Creative externally at meetings, events, and panels
Team Leadership & Mentorship
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams across disciplines
  • Mentor staff in project delivery, problem‑solving, and client engagement
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and accountable team culture
  • Contribute to internal process improvements and agency development
What You Bring
  • 8+ years of experience in strategic consulting, public sector delivery, or agency leadership
  • Strong background in one or more of: government consulting, nonprofit strategy, SME advisory
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver cross‑functional projects
  • Skilled in client communication, stakeholder management, and team coaching
  • Solid understanding of financial tracking, project forecasting, and margin management
  • Experience in business development, proposal positioning, and partnership building
  • Clear, concise communication and a collaborative leadership style
  • A commitment to results, growth, company culture, and continuous improvement
