As a Project & Cross-Departmental Manager, you will oversee the development, planning, and execution of projects, ensuring collaboration across departments and tracking performance according to the SQCDEE model (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Engagement, Environment).

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective, sustainable solutions that support the operational excellence of Yoplait Liberté Canada.

RESPONSABILITIES
Project Management
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of capital and continuous improvement projects, including managing timelines, budgets, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure project commissioning and performance follow-up to achieve operational objectives.
Development, Innovation, and Collaboration
  • Improve internal practices and standards by integrating best approaches in safety, quality, productivity, and environmental compliance.
  • Propose innovative and practical solutions to support business objectives while applying the SQCDEE model.
  • Maintain close communication between departments (Production, Maintenance, Quality, R&D, Finance, etc.) and corporate teams to ensure project alignment and success.
Technical and Operational Support
  • Provide organizational and technical support to internal teams.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, technicians, and other stakeholders to resolve operational issues and optimize project outcomes.
Profile
  • College or university degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in a continuous manufacturing environment, ideally in the food industry.
  • Proven experience managing projects of various scales, including oversight of timelines, budgets, and performance.
  • Knowledge of food industry regulatory standards (GMP, food safety, CFIA) and experience with CSA standards is an asset.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills: able to coordinate teams, communicate effectively, and collaborate across departments.
  • Experience working with technicians, supervisors, management personnel, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Good understanding of processing and packaging systems, as well as a broad perspective on manufacturing, quality, maintenance, and R&D.
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems, make decisions, and support operational efficiency.
