Job Description

The Project Coordinator will coordinate and facilitate the intake, prioritization, resourcing tracking and reporting processes for projects supported by the Facilities Planning, Redevelopment & PMO Department. The Project Coordinator will provide oversight and support for the Corporate Resource Planning Committee (CPRC) including but not limited to preparing reports for dissemination to leadership and project executives in collaboration with the Project Management Team.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for supporting governance, methodologies, and oversight for projects across the organization
  • Oversee project management frameworks and templates
  • Supports, plans, coordinates and promotes the organization's formal project intake, prioritization, resourcing, tracking, and reporting process and governance including project plans, timeframes, schedules, budgets and communication materials.
  • Plan meetings and organizing project logistics.
  • Support collaboration such as file sharing, document/template management/updates.
  • Maintain and monitor project management dashboard. Tracks metrics, schedules reviews, maintains tools, and keeps documentation up to date
  • Monitor and track intake progress and addresses issues that arise appropriately.
  • Ability to analyze situations and data to inform decision-making and identify solutions.
  • Collaborates with project managers and users departments to communicate and educate the organization on the initiative intake process and other processes.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal users and external partners including governance bodies’, vendors, senior leadership, physicians, staff, learners and volunteers
  • Departmental support for completing and submitting Purchase Requisitions
  • Support basic program operational functions as requested
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health, Business Administration, Management or related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate or Certified Associate in Project Management
  • 3-5 years proven experience in project management or coordination roles is highly valued
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective coordination
