Job summary

Pagnotta, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Project Coordinator for our Head Office and Edmonton sites. The role focuses on supporting and coordinating commercial projects, ensuring planning, execution, and completion align with business objectives and client requirements.

You will facilitate project communication, track progress, and ensure activities stay on time and within budget, working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across Western Canada.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience in commercial project management, including familiarity with contract management, procurement processes, and commercial terms and conditions.
  • Knowledge of financial principles and budget management, including tracking project expenses and monitoring financial performance.
  • Familiarity with risk management techniques and the ability to proactively identify and address potential project risks.
  • Certification in project management, such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management), is a plus.
  • Experience using project management software, such as Microsoft Project and Procore, and reporting on project activities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in development of project plans, timelines and budgets for commercial projects.
  • Coordinate project activities and ensure that project plans are effectively communicated to all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for project-related communications and documentation.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, prepare meeting agendas, and document meeting minutes.
  • Communicate project status updates to internal teams and external stakeholders as necessary.
  • Assist in resource allocation and coordination to support project activities.
  • Identify and expedite resource constraints and potential risks that may impact project timelines.
  • Identify potential project risks and issues, and work with the project team to develop mitigation plans.
  • Monitor project risks and issues and ensure appropriate steps are taken to address them.
  • Prepare regular project status reports and performance metrics for project stakeholders.
  • Analyze project data and provide insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance processes for commercial projects.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Ensure that all project activities comply with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
  • Maintain project documentation and records in accordance with company standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders and project teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and expectations.
  • Support change management activities related to project scope, schedule, and resources.
  • Communicate and manage changes to project plans and ensure that all relevant parties are informed and aligned.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in project coordination and execution.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for commercial project management within the organization.

We are currently recruiting aProject Coordinatorfor our Head Office/Job sites located in Edmonton, AB.

The Role:

As a Commercial Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting and coordinating commercial projects within the organization. You will work closely with various teams and stakeholders to ensure the successful planning, execution, and completion of commercial projects while meeting business objectives and client requirements. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Planning and Coordination:
    • Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets for commercial projects.
